We’ve decided that we’re going to try one of the other places to stay in Mesquite on our next visit. On previous stays we have been awakened by smoke alarms falsely going off early in the morning, maintenance crews working very early. It was lumpy, needless to say between the uncomfortable bed and the noise we didn’t sleep well at all. There was a spring or something emerging so we moved into the other bed. On our last stay (December 26, 2005) we settled in for the night on one of the two beds. Don’t expect a night of good quality sleep. But, the worst is the beds they are getting awful. The bathrooms are getting really bad showers not working very well, rough, scratchy towels, stinky drains. There is absolutely no sound proofing, you can hear people walk past your room, sinks and showers running, toilets flushing, maids vacuuming above, below and on the sides of you. Veneer chipped and scratched away on the furniture and doors.
The rooms are now in serious need of maintenance, repair and updating.
My husband and I have stayed here before, so we knew not to expect the amenities of a 4 star property.
